No DC++ is not dead, but DC++ is mostly "one-man-show" and arnetheduck have better things to do ;)
I now working on PtokaX, because next DC++ version have very much things changed and i don't want to do anything what must be for update to new DC++ core rewritten...

As those dickheads took down the DC++ forum and I aint seen a new release 4 ages, does this mean the development of the core DC++ client is dead? If so, will that hamper the future development of CZDC++?
